Paul has had more than 25 years management experience as a project manager, as a
chief executive officer in information systems management, and as a mentor of corporate
culture development programs. He is an experienced facilitator of workshops using
the latest learning techniques and is a specialist in corporate and personal values
analysis. He is the author of New Wisdom II: Values-Based
Development. Paul has published over twenty articles on corporate development.
The four-day Values-Based Management (VBM) workshops, which Paul has conducted
on a regular basis for the past 17 years, continue to receive high acclaim.
Additional to the above, some of the highlights of Paul's career are:
- Developer of the AVI (A Values Inventory) - an instrument used by leading Values-Based
Organisations (VBOs) around the Globe.
- Regular contributor to the values section of the book by Carlopio, J., Andrewartha,
G. & Armstrong, H., Developing Manager Skills: A comprehensive guide for leaders
- a text used internationally by universities in HR Management degree programs.
- Founder of The Values Education Network and the Minessence Group
- Co-editor & Publisher of the Proceedings of The First World Congress on Action
Research & Process Management.
- Co-convenor of the First & Second World Congresses on Action Research &
Process Management
- Tutor in Information Systems Management as part of the IMCA's MBA programme in Papua,
New Guinea.
- A mentor of Telecom’s (now Telstra's ) VISION 2000 cultural change programme.
- Lecturer at TAFE in "Information Systems Management” as part of their Diploma of
Information Systems & Computing.
- Chief Executive Officer, Information Systems and Computing, Telecom Queensland.
- Member, Executive Management Board, Telecom Queensland.
- Adult Education Lecturer for TAFE in microcomputer programming techniques.
- Project Engineer in charge of the installation of the computer system to handle
Telstra's customer complaints.
- Design of computerised control/surveillance equipment (micro-computer hardware &
software) to control and monitor Telstra's Radio Telecommunications equipment
- Project Engineer in charge of the design and installation of Radio Broadcast Stations
across Queensland for the Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC).
- Studying non-linear systems (chaos) theory in the early 70’s, under the guidance
of Dr Colin Chesmond who had been the Project Engineer for the Autopilot of the
Concorde supersonic airliner.
