Rona Lynn Fitzpatrick is a former educator who identified a need for improving current conflict management approaches. Her research overwhelmingly supports the idea that values alignment is a proactive approach to conflict management by fostering collaborative organizational cultures. Her consulting practice is built on the belief that using a coach approach for fostering collaborative and leadership capacity in the workplace strengthens collective purpose and dramatically improves performance, accountability and resilience.

The mission of the Collaboration Coach is to foster collaborative cultures by
developing proactive conflict management skills. The focus is on aligning
values with strategies to create congruent decision and behavior choices in individuals
and organizations. Assisted a new multifaceted government agency to create an operational definition of collaboration for the employees of the unit.
